Startup cycle 14 days done, what now?

How about a big waterchange to bring no3 down?
any downsides?

I thought to sifon the sand.. and do like a 300l waterchange.. as clearly the bacteria population is able to reduce nutrients.. just missing the diversity at this point..

Yes! Exactly what i thought . Just let biology do its thing..
tank is full brown now.. fish seem to be doing fine .

I did dose a little po4 to boost balance a bit and see that whatever po4 i add is almost directly consumed, and broken down by the bacteria . I know po4 will buffer...

Cycle was done with both dry rock and dry sand..
Currently 2 clownfish small ones.. and 5 small green chromis..

Followed the 14 day cycle ..

Only difference is i doses zeobac and spongepower daily for 2 weeks striaght (and did the big dose first...

So ive finished the 14 day zeovit new start cycle..
everything went.... fine.... really . I was amazed..
Followed the instructions to a T . Have some fish in it.

Now the tank is still freaking brown.. algea phase, so no issues, its expected.. but i tested my water now......

And yes besides zeovit.. ill just follow the start 14 day cycle again.. because i have some fish.. i will dose niteout daily for 7 days

Yeah.. completely cracked through.. from overflow to the other side.. probably someone tightened the bulkhead too much, the crack seems to have started there...

Wellllll... atleast i have a buddy who gifted me a tank..
Looks like **** now.. all white.. but tommorow she will run again...

Hi all.

After i quit this hobby about 2 years ago, i always missed it.. and decided to place bak a small tank (120gallon)

So im doing the 14 day cycle.. probably gonna take a little longer because i used dead rock, but so far im 7 days in, and it looks like its going fine.....
