        Checking bank account ..........

Why the increase? I know the US dollar is in the pooper but I thought it was getting a "little" stronger? OTOH, I remember when the dollar was SO much stronger than the euro, then the euro eclipsed the dollar and the price increase wasn't actually all that bad for us.

Here is the quote from Roger on the other forum.

Also the new catalog is available as a download from www.tunze.com in the bottom left hand corner.

"The new prices in the catalog go into effect Sept 1st 2005. They represent an 8% increase with a few items cheaper, some unchanged and the one big increase is the 7095 multicontroller. This item had been priced before it was ever made and actual production costs came out much higher then initial estimates so that is why the large correction.

Todays prime exchange rate is $1.24 to 1 Euro. The actual bank exchange rate would be approximately $1.27, prime only applies to businesses and governments exchanging millions of dollars, bank rates are higher to factor their profit from the deal. The former prices were based on a $1.17 Euro. The new price is based on a $1.26 Euro so I believe it is still quite fair seeing as it has fluctuated from prime rates of 1.22 to 1.34 over the past 6 months and actual rates are always a few cents over the prime rate.

Bottom line, if you want something you better buy it now."

Do you carry the Tunze Universal pump Mini 5024.04? If so, how big would you say? What would you compare it to in size?

                  Thanks!
