  • the pics are getting better, sort of..

I made a very simple camera box from a 4" ABS coupling with some 1/8" acrylic glued to one end. It was the simplest DIY project ever, and the results weren't too bad... I tried 3 different cameras and all up it worked pretty well, having an open top tank helps too..

    anyway, on to the pics...

Did you DIY a ABS tripod also? Your camera did a great job. Any chance that you can borrow a camera from a friend, so you can take a picture of your DIY project?
I am out there, and loving every minute of it!

Out of the closet, that is. The Zeo closet.

lol, no DIY ABS tripod, but that is a great idea

not a very good pic, but you get the idea. take one 4" ABS coupling, score & snap some thin acrylic to fit and glue it to one end..

the mrs is out at school tonight so I nabbed her coolpix 5700, after I finished shooting and the lights went out I noticed it was set for 640x480

one more coral pic.. a.tenius, small but nice..

Very nice pictures rich. I thought about making the "camera box" out of tubing also because I have tons of it. I think I may have to try it now

BTW, I want frags of these:

And I won't take "no" for an answer

Excellent, Rich. I can only wish....that Madison will make a house-call. BTW, Madison let us know if the wife & baby are OK. Thnx. Bob

no worries Madison (congrats on the new baby BTW), as long as you don't mind small frags (neither of the two are very big yet), and as Bob mentioned, you'll have to make a house call :-) and you'll have to take some of the a.microphthalma with you too.
