The Regal is doing great, I don't think I can reccomend this fish to anyone but I will say they are not "impossiable" to keep like Rock Beautys and Moorish Idols. Just really make sure you feel confident you can keep one....get a certified fish, and don't let it sit at the LFS. Offer a wide variety of food in a wide variety of differant manners when trying to get them to eat. Clams, Mussels, Squid, Mysis, Brine, Seaweed...Let it sit on the rock, put it on an alge clip just to get them to reconize it as food. They are extreemly shy the first few days...mine did not eat until day 4, and wouldn't come out with people in the room until day 7. I've had him for 2 months and he gets better and better, he eats out of my hand!!! He sometimes gets in the way while I'm looking at my corals or trying to glue them to rocks

This is how I acclimated him to prepared foods.
-He came in and on day one he was picking at the rockwork, I didn't even let the LFS take him out of the bag...they called and said the fish was in, I left work to go get him.
-Day 4 fed mussel on the 1/2 shell laying on liverock
-Next day fed mussel on the 1/2 shell attached to an alge clip
-Fed mussel meat on the alge clip (no shell)
      -Squidd attached to alge clip
-Alge and Squid on Alge clip
-Finally one of the hardest things to do is get these fish to take food from the water colum...mine took mysis treated w/ garlic.

Diet now includes Red&Green Alge in the morning, and Squidd or Mysis at night treated w/ garlic or selcon. Water quality also needs to be premium but your on ZEOvit forum so we don't have to worry about that Also High flow is also good for these fish. You don't want any other fish in your tank that might stress them out initally (THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT) Mine will still get spooked sometimes and you won't see him for the rest of the night. Let me know if you have any questions I would be happy to give you any information.

I have 7 tangs so I guess I will have to pass.. I don't think the goldflake is that picky like the regals... Beautiful fish though.. Also do you have strictly sps? I am 99% sps but have a few lps and zoos..
