oh Todd, I just can't bring myself to get into the whole "PM" thing, to much hype goes along with that guy, lol....

          tank is a 30 gallon - 24 x 24 x 12 - lighting is 175w 14k hamilton + 150w 14k phoenix/AC - around 53x turnover.

some top down pics from my weekly WC about 5 minutes ago, ahh 2am on a monday morning.

my "scripps" a.valida , starting to color up at last:

"scripps" a.microphthalma (right), a true weed of the acro world (frags available)

Skeletor, your tank is my favorite of all time. I originally saw it on the Oceansmotions website.

I spent a good part of the weekend trying to track down the same sized tank (24x24x12)... but no luck. Any clues?

Great pics, BTW. Everything looks to be coloring up very nicely.

thanks everyone, I am really happy with how the tank is progressing...

spur2 is powerful stuff, overall I'm very happy with the results of the dosing. tips have returned to normal color after about a week and growth has been excellent (as usual). one of the brown frags I had changed completely and is maintaining it's nice new teal color. not bad considering the tank wasn't really ready for spur2.

ewan - I believe the tank is called a 30 flat breeder, apparently it was (at one time at least) a standard size tank. I picked it up from my LFS, the guy has a big stack of them out the back from when he used to breed fish many years ago. I know where there are plenty more if you were in So Cal..

I would take some micro if you gave it to me free and I paid for shipping alone...mabe.
Proud owner of an Elegance Coral "that lived". (It is thriving whith long tentacle tips...purchased in January 2005.) It has white tentacle tips, I beleive this has something to do with ones that will typically live due to the collection site.

any locals are welcome to pick up a frag of the microphthalma, shipping costs are simply to much for a regular old weed like this. I want to remove a patch of it so there will be a few frags.

Adam, I'm sure you could find something nicer locally for the cost of shipping.
