It's amazing how much more color they have from above, I still kick myself for not going with the starfire glass. Oh, well. Time to start saving my pennies.

I will keep updating on a weekly basis. I should get the products by monday.

                Sounds good,

so a couple questions for you. i noticed you posted in John's thread about wishing you did not do the whole "re-do" of your tank.

Did you basically just frag or sell most colonies and then get the corals that you wanted. You know some "rare" stuff or anything along those lines? I noticed you ordered a bunch of stuff from Eric (fragfarmers.com), did you basically just get frags from him? i am guessing you wanted to start over with frags right?

in a year i am sure you wont know the difference, haha. You and John both get great growth.

Sorry for the quality, but that's what you get when you hurry. Also have to apologize, I haven't cleaned the glass inside or out in almost a week. I get the occasional drip of water running down the outside front. I think the silicone between the eurobracing and the front pane leads and with the Tunzes pointed in the way they are it forces water out and I get a little run of water every couple days. So far I have just wiped it off with Paper towels. I can't see the joint due to the cabinetry. Anyway enough excuses.

Nice tank marshall, how large is that clam? about 6" how did you afix your tunz against the rock?

That clam is nearly 12" from stem to stern. I have had to lift it a couple times and weighs probably close to 7 or 8 lbs. He likes to wander around the tank blowing sand all over things. The Blue Hippo tank above is nearly 4". and the sailfin is every bit of that. I will throw a ruler in front of the tank to give some scale. The tank is 6' long.

The Tunzes are in Acrylic "saddles" attached to racks that support the surrounding live rock. I have some larger pieces I plan on breaking up to hide them a little better, but haven't gotten around to doing it yet.

Yup, fragged everything. Sold some off locally, sent a pack to Chad and the rest are residing in my frag tank (suffering from old lights). I hope within a year things are looking quite a bit more mature. The main reason I redid the tank was to rework the rock to allow more frag placement. The way it was before there were too many sheer rock faces with minimal light. My goal was strictly coral placement. I have gotten my last few orders from Eric, and plan on another next month. Money is tight right after christmas, and finishing paying for the BK .

Here is a progression of 1 piece with a change from 14k hamiltons to Radium 20k (400 watt) Oceanic salt mix. Dosing remains AAHC, PIF, Pocci Stylo glo, Start2 and bak/food. No other additives or supplemental feeding.

Any help on an ID is greatly appreciated also.

                              September 05 (from above)

November 05 (through 1/2" standard float glass)

I will add at least one more a little newer when I get home.
