  • Playing with Camera

Been playing with the Camera and see how my pics come out. I need a little work.

Pictures are really soft... (Slightly fuzzy). Not blurry enough to be a shaky hand - Makes me think the camera shutter wasn't fast enough.

Looks like you are using 20k's - so given that your color balance looks good?

How long have you had the Turaki for ? Mine are actually coloring up nicer inside under 20K than outside in the sunlight.

I have had the Turaki since mid Sept., good growth since then. Color is green with blue on the tipping. I will play with shutter speed a little tomorrow.
      Lighting is 3 250w pheonix and 2 150w AB20k. I will see if I have a better Turaki pic.

I had a turaki in the Spring - And it was gorgous purple and blue.

I got some about 3 weeks ago. The ones outside are green bodied with the light blue tips.

The one inside is turning super bright blue tips. And the inside is more light blue and brown.

This is one of the prettier corals I have seen in the past couple of years (personal opinion only) I am really looking forward to seeing what one of this looks like when grown into colony sized.

Stop taking pix with your camera phone and get a real digi cam Brian!

My Turaki looks incredible. I sound like a friggin shill for Eric but the ones on his site are better looking in person. It is easily the nicest SPS in my tank. Solid green/blue with purple tips.

Just fraged a piece of it today to put into a different system to see how it progresses.
I have seen about 3 different color varients of it recently being imported.

I have been looking for a real Camera, just don't know what direction to turn. At times I think that my phone takes better pictures.
On the camera I need one that I can get a Underwater Housing for.
