          Cant you get some that are photosynthetic? I thought I seen one identical to that the other day claiming to be as such?

            They have a chance if you gonna use living plankton. The curator of the six meter tank in Vlaardingen, Holland put in 4 liters each day.

              And then the current has to be correct so the polyps have enough chance of catching the zooplankton. Just adding plankton isn't enough, unfortunately.

              When you would keep corals like these in a tank which contains enough plankton (millions of cells in each liter) of enough species (to ensure a complete spectrum of essential substances) chances would be noticably better.

              In 'normal' tanks, even when they are fed plankton, they slowly fade away.
