It doesnt say.. but it looks similiar to yours. I like how everything looks so clean and open still even with all those rocks. I wonder how they put those rocks together to make them look like one? or are they big structures already?

Here are some points I read in that article which I found very useful:

          1. Use ceramic rock for the base of your aquascape and live rock around it. If you use live rock for the base, there wont be enough oxygen to those parts which will create nutrient buildup.

          2. When picking out rock, the lighter rock is more porous and beneficial to bacteria. If the rock is heavy, it can be used for the base since it wont release nutrients because of its nonporous structure.

          3. Pretreat your rock with clean water and saltwater. "Twice with fresh water and twice with seawater (2 kg common salt/100 litres)." Use Hydrogen Peroxide on the last treatment and then empty on the 7th day to start the process of your new tank water.

          4. Test for "Yellow" Material in the rocks. Its an absolute recommendation to remove these rocks if they contain the "Yellow" material which is phosphorous. The test kit is called, "2-Eimer-Test". Most likely this is caused by drying the live rock and shipping it to its destination which has dead organisms living in them now and nutrients will then rise over time. True live rock will always be shipped damp.

          5. Phosphate is important in small quantities (to 0,05mg/ litre) for the growth of the corals. At higher values the phosphate is a fertilizer for algae and restrains the growth of the corals. Too high of phosphates comes increased growth of the symbiosis algae which the corals show a brown color.

EDIT: Heinz you beat me to it I just finished reading it.

Claude is talking about dead rock and reefceramic on this,

Thanks heinz! Is there any way we can find out how they made that rock? Is it glued together? It looks to perfect and just right.

And again, there is that perception of lighting again with bright up front and dark in the back. Love that.

there is no info on how they did the aquascaping, is just an example of a tank with dead rock,

Does anyone know how someone could create such a flawless aquascape? It doesnt look stacked at all.

this tank was build by Claude, he is a custom tank builder, competitior to Klaus, i assume Claude uses some kind of foam like Klaus does to support the rocks,
