Calcium-hydroxyd reactor type 110
The calcium-hydroxyd reactor is from the new generation and developed by Ratz Aquarientechnik. Many aquarium people work with calciumhdroxyd to the old method, into a bottle. This is a old system. When you open the bottle the oxygen reacts with the air. The reactor from Ratz Aquarientchnik works 10 to 15 days, by 1,05 gal.( 4 l ) per day. This is a revolutionary system, and economical. Work of the system: You fill the reactor with 40 - 50 gr. Calciumhydroxyd, and cosed the cover. Then you join the water tube with a dosing-pump or centrifugal pump. You fill the reactor with osmosis water, "not seawater". The regulate you make with a electronic timer. About all exchange mixes the water with Calciumhydroxyd. In the dormancy falls the Calciumhydroxyd down. The exchange you can all 30 minutes repeat. The exchange water quantity is a aproximate 0,25 gal, ( 1 l ) and this you can exchange into about 15 - 30 minute. If you work with a dosing pump, you can triplethe exchange. By the way, when you need plenty of calcium you can work paralel with a Ratz Calcium-reactor. Technical data
