    Thought I'd start logging my progress so here's a couple pics of my 29G.

    very nice!!!...what lights are you using? hows the growth? how long has it been set up? (i hope you dont mind me bombarding you with questions )

      Here's the current specs:
      - Tank specs: 30x12x18; 29G; acrylic; cobalt blue back
      - Stand height: 30"
      - Canopy height: 12"
      - Lighting: ReefOptix III 250w HQI pendant w/AC14k bulb; 8-hour photoperiod
      - Fans: two (2) 4" IceCap fans w/temp-sensitive speedcontrol
      - Sump: 10G acrylic; w/100 micron filter sock
      - Skimmer: EuroReef ES5-2 w/gate valve mod
      - Heater: WON ProHeat II 150w
      - Return pump: Mag 7
      - Chiller: JBJ Arctica 1/5hp
      - Circulation: three (3) SEIO M620's
      - Dosing: 2-ch peristaltic pump dosing 2-part Ca & alkalinity
      - Pinpoint pH monitor
      - DIY auto topoff
      - DIY flourescent moonlight
      additional info:
      - 45lbs fiji live rock
      - 40lbs live sand (aragonite)

      It's been running just shy of one (1) year and its 5th week on ZEOvit (no reactor).

            I put together brackets such that I can adjust angle and height of the the ROIII pendant. As you can see, the pendant is slighty tilted towards the front of the tank.

                          The orange one is a female orange lyretail anthias & the pinkish/yellow one is a bartletts anthias.

                          Let' see, I would have to say most of the SPS corals were acquired last fall. The few LPS were acquired last summer. Tonight, hopefully I'll be able to post individual pics of the corals.
