    Here are some pics from my mixed reef. Today starts week 7 of Zeovit. . .

            First off Great shots Bob .

            Second what equipment are you shooting with? Those are great shots, and it may help someone if they are going to buy a setup soon.

              Thanks all for the kind words.

              I'm actually not that thrilled with the quality of the photos. . .they just don't seem that "sharp" to me.

              The shots were taken with a Canon EOS digital rebel with a 70-210 zoom on a tripod. Most of them were at maximum zoom, as close to the specimen as possible (about 3'). I use the large image size setting.

              I've toyed with various settings, from full automatic (what I call "idiot proof") to full manual. So far, my best shots seem to be using aperture priority for an increased depth of field, but that usually results in a darker image that I have to clean up with Photoshop Elements.

              I'd love some tips/pointers on how to improve the quality. . .
