        For me this massive/encrusting coral was pretty hardy. It did best under intense lighting with moderate flow. It was a very slow grower for me but i've seen them grow faster in other tanks. I've also seen varieties that have different colored polyps from the tissue color.

        My colony was lost due to the monitopora eating nudibranchs. Interestingly, this was the first montipora they attacked after they were introduced to my tank.
