  • Strange encrusting LPS types?

I have been trying to ID the following corals which I consider as LPS.

The first one has me convinced it is some form of encrusting Tubinaria sp. It is growing very quickly and has almost double in size in the last 6 months. The polyps are roughly 5-8mm wide. It is mainly a blue grey colour with the new encrusting tissue being brown. Just for added confusion, the polyps look like tiny gonipora polyps... Sorry for the bad image:

This is some form of 'brain' coral and is also a super fast grower. It seems to get 'hairy' rather than swollen and I've no clue what it could be. It has blue/green colouring. Again, sorry for the bad image:

Is there any way you can get a closer view of the septa (skeleton ridges) on the maze brain?

interesssting.... def. something i have never seen before.....
Proud owner of an Elegance Coral "that lived". (It is thriving whith long tentacle tips...purchased in January 2005.) It has white tentacle tips, I beleive this has something to do with ones that will typically live due to the collection site.
