  • Possible red Hoeksemai?

I acquired this frag from James at Aquascene in Hayward California. It was believed to be a A. Abrotaniodes. Some have suggested A. Hoeksemai. Just thought I could get some more feedback on it. It is only the second acropora staglike specimen that I have seen with this red color.

looks like abrotanoides to me. They are very nice corals and hard to get. Not because they are rare, but because they usually don't ship well. Take good care of her

Finally, you're the first to support the Abrotanoides ID. Thanks for the input.

I'll be visiting LA between the 26th and 30th this month. I need to visit PAcific Aquafarms and Leader to place a few orders. It would be great to be able to meet you and come check things out. Maybe you can also give me some pointers on what else I can do for fun once I'm done conducting business. Hope to be able to meet you.

Tom, I will be out of town from the 23rd to the 27th. But maybe when I get back we can head down to the wholesalers. Leader isn't really the best place to visit. I'd say just fax in your order to them and don't wast your time visiting. PAF is cool though. feel free to email me [email protected]
