white with purple polyps

  • white with purple polyps

    Got this a couple of weeks ago, was brown. Now has white tips with the white working its way down to the rest of the coral. Has bright purple polyps on the stalks and bright green polyps on the base. Think it will go all white eventually. Any ideas on the id?

        k man, kewl.
        Proud owner of an Elegance Coral "that lived". (It is thriving whith long tentacle tips...purchased in January 2005.) It has white tentacle tips, I beleive this has something to do with ones that will typically live due to the collection site.

            the top poyps are out but not fully. the ones on the side are def out though, they are purple

                cheers skeletor, they are wicked arent they. Was well lucky with this one. picked it up as i noticed the green polyps on the base all brown though, couple of weeks later is as you see it there
