  • Anyone know what this is?

    Maybe a monti? It has some extremely bright green polyps. I havent seen it around. Got this from a local who's tank was going down.

    Edward, if the green spots are the polyps, what are the brown things sticking out? Are those polyps as well or are they some kind of coralites? Is the picture deceiving or does the tip growth on the far right hand side look like an acro...?

      The brown things are corallites. I honestly dont know.. I never came across a coral like this one.

          All his stuff has changed so much from their original form, it's hard to tell. My milli doesn't even look like a milli anymore. And that's usually one you can't get wrong.

            The bright spot-polyps remind me of a porites i had, i can't see the corallites from this picture, so may be i'm wrong.

              ok guys.. looks like i figured it out. This piece has some beautiful polyps. Doesnt look like the pic anymore.

              Its a Montipora tuberculosa. Coralites are identical from the pic below.
