  • Anemone Survival Rate in Zeovit tanks

    Hi Everybody,

I was just curious to know if using the zeovit method helps increase the survival rate of host anemones?
Who is keeping anemones in their zeovit tanks?

    / 20g ZEOnano9020 system / /

The golden ratio is 1.61803399 - use it wisely.

Here is my anemone when I recieved it 3 month ago...

Here he is today.. You can see he has grown well and is doing VERY well.. I had to cut back his feeding because he was growing so fast...

      Peace, Jeff

I too keep an anemone in my tank. Had him for over a year and been running ZEO for just over 7 months.

Sadly, ours are stugling to survive.

When we first moved the gbta into the new tank (prior to ZEO), it turned a beautiful blue/green colour with bright fuchsia tips and it split shortly thereafter. We also added a RBTA to the tank which doubled in size prior to ZEO. (I've been keeping anemones for awhile now, feeding shrimp and silversides.)

Since we've started ZEOvit, all anemones have shriveled and gone into hiding.

          FWIW, I'm TheDogFather's wife:

Mine was the first in the tank so it would settle and not roam over the sps. It went through the strong inital doses of zeo and thrived the whole time. I never feed it directly either.

Hi Tabita & hubby, softies & LPS including anemones will thrive with ZEOvit by adding 3 drops CV[coral vitalizer]& SP daily for 3 days then dose these 3x's/wk. The difference will be noticed quickly. SPS changes in color & growth are more gradual. Bob

Anemone Survival Rate in Zeovit tanks

How many of the seedlings survive in the wild?any cp.
I assume with the growers the rate must be close to 100, before we start tossing them out as not interesting, but I have no idea what the survival rate in the wild is.

                    Anyone here know?
