    Discovered from / Year: Milne Edwards & Haime, 1849
    Growth: Circular, slow grower
    Degree of difficulty: medium for advanced reefers
    Lighting: low (bulb)
    Current: low

    Mine totally bleached when I had too high temperatures...then about 3 months later looked as if nothing ever happined. I would say it is a pretty easy to keep coral.
    Proud owner of an Elegance Coral "that lived". (It is thriving whith long tentacle tips...purchased in January 2005.) It has white tentacle tips, I beleive this has something to do with ones that will typically live due to the collection site.

                I got a Cynaria lacrymalis a couple of weeks ago. I try to feed it but it won't take any food. Do I need to feed it?

                  Armando, yes. They like silver sides or mysis. Make sure the shrimp dont steal it from his mouth or other fish. Leave it on his mouth and it will start to blow up and engulf it in about 10 or so mins. It takes time
