    ID my urchin

    I discovered this interesting LR hitchiker in one of my LR cooking tubs today

    Looks like an urchin. Does anyone know what species it is, if it gets big and if it has a painful sting?

    400 gallon reef, Bubble King 300, I~Spin, 2 x 10,000K BLV 400W, 2 x 20,000K Radium 400W, 2 x 6,400K Osram 400W, Schuran Jetstream 1, AquaController Pro

      Hi mate, i had the same one hitching on a coral.

      They are harmless, and great Aglae eaters, forgot the name.

                          Saw one in my LFS and was thinking of getting but guys in RC advise against it as they claim it to be a coral and fish eater The one I saw in the LFS also does not move much.... wonder if he even eats any algae??

                              yes,, I thought the same if he really eat any.hah. i found the best one is the Taxedo. they do really good job day and night.
