Its doing ok. I want to get another one because they would feel more comfortable in pairs just like any other pipefish. hopefully i can get lucky and get a male/female pair so I can see them dancing with each other.

what do you have for water movement so i can compare?

        i have 3 tunze 6100s on a 7095 and a mag 12 split into 2 return lines each with a 1" sea swirl.

what do you think? a bit too much for them?

        thanks!

          Edawrd,

I had a pair of these when I had the bugs, they ate well, and did pretty good for abut a month, the first one eprisehed to a tunze, and then the second just didn't do as well, stopped eating the mysis, and then got its butt kicked by my psudo, didn't last another day.....

Great addition to a reef though, if the flow isn't too bad........
IF IT IS WORTH DOING, TAKE YOUR TIME AND DO IT RIGHT..........

I know a dude who keeps an assortment of pipe fishes in his reef. That thing has FLOW. Wavebox, 6200 streams AND a surge. The pipe fish seem fine in the system.
            10x3x2 FOWLR (for now)
            BK400ext
RD12 return, 2 RD12 closed loop, wavebox with extension
