  • Coral Tattoo!

So do you thin you are hardcore? do you thjink you are more fanatic about coral than anyone here? well show me your coral tats to prove it! here is mine, I got a week ago at all or nothing tattoo in smyrna GA. it took 2 hours to do, cost me $300 plus gas and tip. it is on the inside of my left arm. It is a from an image of an octocoral polyp, the picture is a little larger than life size so you can see that the linework is about as fine as it gets. lemme know what you think and please share your reef related tattoos if you have one.

Well, I have a couple tats and it has crossed my mind a few times. I just dont know what I would get. I plan on getting more in the near future just not sure where I want them. I know of a lady here locally that owns a tat shop that has a whole underwater scene on her back. Its really cool. A bit much for my taste but cool none the less.

this was my first tattoo. It represents the soft corals on my left arm and I plan to get a complimentary tat on the same spot on my right arm with a design of a stony/hexacoral so that I will have both hard and soft corals represented. I think my stony tat wil be a fungia design. The only other coral tat I have seen was actually a reef scene with a huge Acro palmata in the background of a sea turtle being grazed on by tangs. Guys let me know if you need a suggestion for a coral design, I got tons of macro pics that I think would look great as tattoos.

Man I knew something was missing, I need to drink more baking soda.

Seriously though, I did look into getting a fluorescent tattoo but everyone who has ever gotten one has said that the inks are unstable, losing their color over time and causing a host of skin irritations, eczema, psoriasis etc. so I canned the fluorescence idea.
