The sad news, Scott, is that VY is not another Vick. He can throw the ball damn well. He's the highest rated passer, even ahead of Matt Leinhart. If the NFL will take him as a QB, he's gone. You don't put the "best" QB in the nation at WR if he is that good. Comparing him solely to MV he will never do more then MV has in the NFL at QB, which is just the sad fact. Now in 3-5 yrs if he is still in the NFL as QB and I am wrong I will apologize to you all

Jeff you are correct, when we went and watched practice at the Compond, I was very disappointed in the way MV acted. He is a pompos ass, over rated (in his own mind) and was the biggest waste of 96 million dollars EVER. God please let them Trade Vick next year.. PLEASE.

Actually Scott, VY is a lot better passer than Vick ever was and here is why. In VY's first two years, he was in the process of being coached "correctly". They were trying to correct that dorky throwing motion he has. In doing that, they lost the confidence, leadership and poise that VY was recruited for. Mack showed Vince tapes from highschool and said "this is he Vince Young we want to see". Vince told him "you have to let me be me". That was this summer and that's when they stopped trying to correct his mechanics.

So we can't look at stats to compare VY right now. The difference in the two though is that VY can make any throw on the field and Vick was limited in his choice of passes and enhanced by the YAC the receivers gave him.

About him being a WR or QB in the NFL. The reason I said that is because the previous two years, that's what the agents had been telling him. As of late, his advisors have been telling him he needs another year as a QB so scouts can see this wasn't a one year thing. Did you hear Troy Aikman today? Said he was as good a passer as anyone in college football right now, but has more athleticism than any QB in the NFL. He also added that many teams formerly looking at him as a receiver, now look at him as a passer.

I don't know what will happen, but I hope he falls on his face, whatever he does. I personally see a much sharper, smarter, and accurate QB in Young than Vick. jmo.
