Well in this case it might be worth the money. That is a pretty rare creature and I imagine reptile lovers will travel and pay entrance fees to a zoo just to get to see it...

Other than that I never got the whole rare coral or fish thing... if a coral or fish is pretty I'll buy it, if it's overpriced because of perceived rareness I'll find something else that's just as purty but cheap
