Credit Card got hacked....

Just got my new statement and a bunch of charges I never made were on the card.. I have been on the phone with the CC companys fraud dept getting it cancealed and letting them know what charges are legit.. This is crazy stuff I tell you.. I am going to run a credit history check on me now to make sure it was not identity theft also.. I would hate to see I have other charges and stuff going on as well.. Just a heads up people to check your accounts around the holiday season and make sure your charges are legit.. Also make sure you take the carbon copies from the stores if they still use them.. 500.00 not much but could have been much worse.. Looks like they did a 1.00 charge October 31st fishing to see if my card was legit. The lady at the fraud dept said that a small charge like that is very common to see if they have a good card #.. Well the people or person using it will be unhappy as they try to use it next time.. They just used it on Sunday too...

When you get your credit history, be sure it pulls from the big 3.

from my loan officer/repo guy days, I just remember that sometimes each one might not have all the info another bureau did. Equifax, TRW, and I forget the last one.

My wife just got a call from Citibank and sumone tried to charge $10000 to her card in Korea! Card is cancelled now and they are issuing her a new card.
