pdf question

Does anyone know if you can save a pdf file as an excel file? A quick look on adobe's site didn't turn up too much info

Can you try and explain it a little better? Chances are there's not going to be an easy conversion because pdf is a proprietary format, but I know you can utilize PHP's excel and pdf functions

I wish it were that easy Sean, but you know, requirements. The current project calls for Crystal 10 as a reporting tool. The IT dept has a strict requirement that all servers are unix based. Crystal 10 and Unix don't play nicely together. I know I can present the data in a pdf format (already have the code for this), but the another requirement is that the users should be able to save the report as an excel file. I am just looking for other solutions that keep my project going forward instead of backward.

Yeah I understand, let me think about it. Do you need to go from source -> pdf -> excel or can do you just do source -> pdf || source -> excel?
