  • TCU 17, No. 7 Oklahoma 10

It's still early, but already college football has a major upset as unranked TCU beat Oklahoma at home on Saturday!!!!

They arent going to win like this!!!

Peterson, the Heisman Trophy runner-up as a freshman last year, was held to 63 yards on 22 carries

Sorry Madison hehe.. Its all good Arizona took an L from Utah last night, we need a few more years with our new man.. I think it really hurt Oklahoma losing him.. But like I told you on the phone, OK has no QB and it showed today, that was just embarassing, they combined for like 112 yards and a INT.. Bad days ahead for Oak bro..

We have a QB, we don't have an offensive coordinator that knows how to use them. Granted we lost a great QB last year but as your personel changes the playbook should change with it. We recruited both these QB's because they fit the offense that Stoops wants to run (more QB running game, escapability, elusiveness, give defenses fits etc) but the idiot offensive coordinator must not have got the message.

Madison, don't let me get to you--it's early, OU had heavy graduations--they'll do fine. Remember I say this being a IU Football fan Bob

"good western michigan team" ha ha, now i've heard everything, lol.

I'm not worried, we may lose a few games but as long as we work on fixing the problems at hand i'll be happy.

I dunno about them sooners, but the TROJANS look damn good. I've had a good weekend. Cal and USC both crumpled their opponents, granted Cal played....the dreaded Sacramento State team and USC played Hawaii with the revolving quarterback plan...hey maybe Hawaii and OU have the same O coordinators???

did you notice how many teams played two QB's (as part of their plan). Hawaii, OU, OSU, Tenn. and that's just off the top of my head.

Embrace the denial, Madison ... you'll suffer less ...

                      ... 6-5 is still a "winning" season, after all ... hehe ... .

If we go 6-5, there is something wrong. I'm still hoping for 10-1

I think the necessary changes have been made. I've been talking to people in the know and it looks like there is a whole new dimension to our offense that we are saving for UCLA (9-17). We changed QB's and one of the biggest guys on the team called a team meeting a couple nights ago. In that meeting the players kicked two players off the team (2 very highly recruited offensive lineman). They were being lazy and now they are paying. These are the kinds of things that boost team spirits. So I am still very optimistic. Like I said in my first post, the loss won't bother me if the right changes are made. It looks like those changes are being addressed.

We get to play the powerhouse, Tulsa, on Sat so that should be a good ego booster for the guys.
