I fish walleyes here in Michigan mostly, been fishing tourneys for abut 7 years, but flyfishing has become my newest addiction, Alaska is the pinnacle for trout and salmon......

Sure is.. thats where most of our salmon and king crabs come from. I really love the life cycle of a salmon. Its very strange how they fight to get back to where they were born. A mystery that I dont think anyone could solve.

It is amazing the amounts of fish that spawn and die, almost heart breaking, but I do understand that is what their life cycle is..........

ok John.. what dont you know? Did you know Alaska is one of the main places we get oil from too? Our #1 place we import oil from is actually Canada and not the middle east.

But, here is something cool for you, when the su is bright there, you can kick up the bottom of the river soot, and you can actually see gold flake sparkling in the water..........
