Underwater City

This is the first time I heard of this, but the Discovery Channel was showing of a underwater city 2000ft down in the Caribbean (Cuba). It was announced in 2001, but found a yr before by two marine scientists by sonar. I wish there was more info out there about this city and it caught my interest to know that a city could be 2000ft underwater with pyramids! and 6000 yrs old! WOW! Atlantis?

I havent found anything yet that states if anyone has been down there yet, but they say 2000 ft is way too deep for any diving. They used ROV, Robotic Ocean Vehicle to gather more info so they can study and analyze. The U.S. was going to get involved, but since 9/11, it was put on hold. Its around 8 miles long. I would love to get involved in that discovery.

They even found what looks to be a road/canal to Cuba from this city. Here's the line:

Thats crazy. The Carribean is filled with treasure though and a lot of if off the coast of florida as well, covered over by years of seafloor movement. On the other hand, I do believe there is more off Cuba because us greedy Americans cant get near it

Its amazing to think that it is 2000 ft down and only 600 yrs old. It just doesn make sense. I wonder how this actually could happen in that short of time and still leave the city intact.

Sean, It was on last night around 7-8 Central time. The show was called Naked something. They said that its not Atlantis, but they dont have enough evidence yet to know since its so deep. Atlantis was pictured as a circled area and the pic below shows that while the show said it wasnt??

Still 6000 yrs In earths timeline is insignifigant. I would love to know how it got down there----hint...hint Gary It seriously does not make sense to me. its like someone picked up the city and dropped it in the water Things just dont happen that fast.
