  • Confused About this statement i found at korallen-zucht

Usage hints: The Zeovit should be placed in a strong flow of around 2000 lph This can either be in the sump or directly connected to the tank. We offer a reactor for Zeovit which can be

    purchased directly from us.

    2000lph ???????

wow is that not way way to much ? i thought it should be at around 400lph

Hi Christiaan, originally, ZEOvit[zeolites] were used in a mesh-bag will rapid flow needed as most of the flow goes around the stones, not thru them as in a canister setup. The zeo-filter was developed later. For those just using a filter sock to hold the zeolites, high flow is recommended but the method is not as effective Bob

Christiaan, I don't remember your net vol of your system, but the flow rate is 400l/h/ltr.zeolite/400l net vol. Bob

Christiaan, Thomas has missed to keep the English homepage up to date. Bob is right, many things have changed since the beginning and the system is constantly enhanced. I would everybody recommend to follow the actual version of the English dosing guide. This will be up to date.
