Can someone explain what I'm seeing?

I'm now 2 1/2 weeks into ZEOvit, the first two weeks i saw some pretty good and steady improvement in color and growth. Also the amount of alge that was collecting on the glass at the end of week two I had to wipe off about every two days....as opposed to two times per day before ZEO. I recently added a purple tang to replace my yellow he is quite a bit larger so I don't know if this has somthing to do w/ what I'm seeing but I'm back to cleaning the glass once per day. I also cut back my doseage since I'm now in week 3. Is this a normal thing to see? Corals don't seem to be affected much the color may not be quite as intense as before but still better than it was.

Yes, Nathan, good observation powers The first two wks. in a new cycle sees more zeo's dosed than the rest of the remainder, of course, therefore, you are noticing some zeo build-up which should not be a problem with the 2x's/wk regimen from now until the exchange of the zeolites.Bob

its normal. are you adding any AAHC? your corals will look better ina couple of months.. some will change quicker than others.

I am not adding AAHC yet, I plan two when I switch out the rocks the 2nd time, I just want to get the basic 4 working right now and slowly add others later.
