Not really..I like looking at SPS tanks from the side so that pretty much blows that. My wife on the other hand doesn't like looking at and hearing all the equipment. She actually found a nice spot for an in wall tank, something I never thought of. I have mine in a closet under the stairs the lead to the third floor. The room\closet is small so air exchange is the key.

Here's a pic so you have an idea

I personally am not a fan of in-wall tanks. I like seeing the tank from all sides and having it be more 3-D. In wall tanks are just a bit too 2 dimensional for me. Just my opinion, don't want to offend anyone.
You're Norma Desmond you used to be big.

I am big it's the pictures that got small.

I think an in wall tank has it's place, but what about an in wall tank that is viewable from at least too sides? Say a cube tank on a corner. That would be cool. Perhaps one day...

Oh yeah John, your tank is amazing. One of my favourite tanks ever. Thanks for the inspiration.

I like my in wall tank, it's a cube tank viewable from two side, the tank is placed in a corner wall, IMHO the in wall solution is the best for the aquarist and his family, especially his wife :-))))

                    Bye

Thnx. for the chuckle, myreef John, from your post above & I thought you were purposely showing no pix, that is joking about the in-the-wall tank. My bad. No matter, your reef is one of my favorites, me. Bob
