Where do you dose?
In reactor directly? in your main tank? or in sump?
I dose zeovit food,bak,start,AA in my sump.

I dose bac and food in the sump near the inlet of the reactor's pump.
AA and start is dosed in the main tank.

I dose all in my main tank, I think, if you dose in your sump, many bacs and other elements will be skimmed directly!
where should be the advantage when you dose in your sump?

When I dose in my sump, I turn my skimmer off for an hour.
I do not know the advantage of this. :-)

my opinion is to dose it directly in the main tank.
I can`t find any chapter in thomas guide, where this subject will be discussed.

Robert, Scott, you guys are too funny
As we all can see, dosing the zeo's will lower the nutrient levels, no matter where they're placed
I recommend dosing in front of the zeo-filter to help concentrate the majority of bak/food/start within the zeo-filter, & turning off the skimmer for 60min after dosing bak/food helps to seed & feed the bacteria all over the tank/sump etc.Bob

Hi Nick, the supplements should be dosed in the last chamber of our sump, in front of the main tank return pump or a rapid current in the display tankBob
