The 2nd best thing ive ever done to my tank!

Just decided to remove the coral gravel from my tank with a piece of thick pipe and after 4 filled buckets its all out but you should have seen the colour of the water in each of those buckets!! Imagine the darkest, smelliest skimmate youve ever had then double it !!

Im amazed anything lived in my tank with that in there never mind grew, if anyone else has a sandbed there thinking of getting rid of then id definately say do it

I know what you mean! You should see a positive outcome in about a month or two with your corals and health of the tank. You water should also look cleaner and more crisp!
