Who uses it? it says use one teaspoon per gallon when repleneshing water in your aquarium...does it really boost calcium??? Does it help corralilne algae grow?

I have some from when before I had a calcium reactor I never hardly used it enough to see any effects.

I want to use it on my 130gallon LPS/softie tank to help corralline and help the LPS corals grow..

    anyone use the stuff??? thanks

Hi Adam, it's a 1-part solution of Ca & buffer. It is inhererently ineffective for raising Ca levels w/o precipitation ocurring which will in a short period of time "lime" your water pipes, & pump impellors. I'd recommend a balanced 2-part additive in your situation or dripping KW, if Ca demand is not too great Bob

        Bob's correct.

IIRC Aragomite is a calcium carbonate suspension. It will not dissolve at typical pH values found in a marine aquarium. It's effect would be like adding powdered reef sand to your tank.

ESV B-ionic is a good two part IMO.
