    present problems
after suffering the Dino issue both No3 n Po4 went to zero and totally stop the start3, heavy feeding and TM zooton for 5 days
Now the No3 V bonce too fast and kind of out of control, even I stop both Nutrition import ( in day 5 ) and start dosing back start 3

    no3 in last 10 days trend 1> 1.4> 2.4 > 2.9> 5.6 > 7.4> 10.3> 9.5> 10.7> 11.4> 10.1

    also I did 140L water change it’s only lower from 11.4> 10.1
now try to target stable n lower the No3

Problem description: SPS tissue loss base, diatom problem

The system uses dry rocks and the system is still very young, it will take a while before the system is more solid, slightly tweaking the dosing of the base product.

Net water volume 500 liters -
the amount of zeolite material is 1.25 liters, the maximum flow rate is 500 liters per hour (please also measure the actual flow rate)

Zeo Bac 5 drops 2-3 times a week,
Zeo start 0.5ml x2 times (morning and evening every day), SpongePower 5 drops every other day,

not sure why the phosphates are so high, temporarily using the sorbent works, keep the above base product dosing plan, also let's gradually remove the sorbent if the nutrients start to dwindle, slow way down to zero .

Base water parameters look high, try to keep at NSW level
    Kh 6.5-7.5
    Ca 400-420
    Mg 1250-1300
    K+~380g

Very happy to hear this good news.

Is the health of the corals continuing to deteriorate and what is the actual zeolite reactor outlet flow? (Use a small container, collect outlet for 30 seconds, volume x120 so you get actual flow)

Regarding activated carbon, not sure what brand/how you use it/quantity you use? Also check the RO/DI water, the tds should be zero.

Base water parameters look a little high, what is the measurement tool for salinity

Yes will check the flow of the Zeovit reactor and post you update.
RO/DI TDS is zero refer from the checker.
but currently the Zeovit I using is near 6 week.
should I change it? Appreciate for your response

Basically, the first material is reserved for the first 4 weeks. If the old material has passed 6 weeks and it is the first replacement, then I recommend replacing 90% and keeping the old 10%. After each material replacement, Zeo Bac x10 days.Your system material quantity is 1.25 liters

Another important thing is the reactor flow rate, currently I don't know the health of your corals, if the corals are not healthy, reducing the flow rate by 1/3 is my recommendation.

Get BioMate if you can, and pay close attention to nutrition should not go up. Also please clarify the correctness of the salinity, the Ca levels are really high and also let's get the potassium test kit to know the potassium levels.

Thanks for the info, it's really important. So how healthy are the overall corals, are their polyps expanding?

Yes, after each material change, take 5 drops of Zeo Bac per day for 10 days.

You're welcome, and welcome to ZeoVit.com.

The zeolite reactor flow is fine, let's go with the dosing schedule mentioned in #2.And also let us execute the zeolite replacement program

                        Some questions and suggestions
                        1. Is activated carbon used? Brand/quantity/method of use
                        2. Get BioMate
                        3. Get the Potassium test kit and publish the actual results
                        4. Whether the salinity is correct, get the new test kit Ca cross-comparison results
                        5. Change the water 5-10% every week to balance The way to refresh/replenish elements, slowly adjust the parameters to NSW stable

Today finally changed the Zeovit 1L and keep original 0.2L
as more easy for add 1L new

                          1. Is activated carbon used? Brand/quantity/method of use
yes Nyos active carbon. so far running around 300g / instruction suggest 500g but I feel shouldnt still too aggressive. My schedule plan to add weekly basis by 100g, so far I’m happy in 300g. But can follow your advice.
Reason behind I m not using the KZ one, as I using the reactor to run media KZ one too easy to get into the sump tank and spread everywhere.

                          2. Get BioMate
Will add to shopping list by this weekend

                          3. Get the Potassium test kit and publish the actual results
im surprise whole hong kong out of stock on salifert potassium test kit. It need special order, should I go for the Red Sea one ?

                          4. Whether the salinity is correct, get the new test kit Ca cross-comparison results
bought Hanna salinity checked today n checked same result as my optical one
I should get salifert CA to cross check the Hanna one

                          5. Change the water 5-10% every week
yes this is my week task since tank establish

If have any suggestion or shipping list free to provide advice. Then I can shopping during the weekend

I think the CA high parameter it was my fault by too early deploy the CA reactor in run, now I stop run the reactor. Hope the CA will drop back to normal level during the water change weekly routine

Thank you for updating some information so we can learn more.

                              1. I have not used Nyos activated carbon, but I would recommend Zeo brand activated carbon.
                              2. If getting BioMate@10 drops every other day for 2 weeks, otherwise 2 times a week.
                              3. Yes, please remember to increase the level slowly, K+~380g
4&5 sounds good, gradually adjust the basic parameters to the NSW level as slowly as possible, Kh6.5-7.5

Zeo CV and Zeo CoralSnow are my suggestions, if available Xtra and Zeo AA let us get that too.

ZeoVit is a bacterial system, it takes time to work, and Please be patient and persevere.
