    Tell us about your tank.
Please give us answers to the following questions in order to get more accurate dosing recommendations.

    1. Gross water volume of your complete system (incl. sump etc.) - US gallons / UK gallons / liter
    Waterbox Frag 105 Gallons
    48"L x 24" W x 16" T

    2. Net water volume (incl. sump etc.) - US gallons / UK gallons / liter
    80 Gallons

    3. Are you using a CaCO2 reactor or other technique
No calcium reactor. I'm using balling method for alkalinity and calcium

    4. Are you using a PO4 reactor (how long, how long ago, etc.)
    No PO4 reactor

    5. Are you using Ozone
    No

    6. Are you using UV
    No

    7. What skimmer are you using (type, rated water volume)
Nyos 160 skimmer, Heavy bioload 75 gallons to Light bioload 250 gallons

    8. What are your actual PO4 and NO3 levels
    Hanna Checker PO4= 0
    Hanna Checker NO3= 0

    9. What are your actual Ca, Alk and Mg levels
    Salifert Calcium= 410
    Hanna Checker Alkalinity= 6.4
    Salifert Magnesium= 1380

    10. What filtration method do you use (refugium, DSB, Miracle Mud, etc.)
I just have the nyos skimmer and kz carbon in a mesh bag in a filter cup as filtration

    11. Type of light (Watt, color temp, how old, etc.)
    ATI SunPower 8 x 54watt
    KZ super blue x 4
KZ coral light gen 2 x3
    KZ purple x1
Schedule is 10 hours 2 x Super Blue, 4 Hours in the middle all blubs
light fixture is 15 inches off the water line.
    Tank is 16" tall

    12. What corals do you keep
i have about 23 frags in the tank now. A variety of Montipora and Acropora

    13. Tissue color (light or dark)
Tissue is very light almost white on all Acropora, I cant tell if its to low nutrients or to much light. Or if its something I'm dosing is wrong

    14. How long has the tank been running
I set the tank up on 14 day zeovit cycle on Jul 16th, I have changed the zeolites out once at the 4 week period. I'm at 8 weeks 1 day now.

    15. Why do you want to use the ZEOvit system
I want a beautiful sps tank with good growth and all the videos i see of zeovit tanks are amazing.

    16. Any supplemental dosing (type, amount, why, etc.)
Only using Sodium Bicarbonate and Calcium Bicarbonate at the moment outside of KZ products

    17. Live rock (how much, how old, etc.)
started the tank with half and half live to dry rock. The live rock is about 20-30ish pounds maybe a touch more of 2 1/2 year old pukani rock

    18. Any present problems
All my corals seem to be bleaching out. Very white. Polyps are still colored but the tissue of the corals are very pale and some are even turning white.

    19. Problem description (tissue loss tips, tissue loss base, diatom bloom, algae, etc.)
No tissue loss as of yet but very very light colored tissue, Im thinking its either to much dosing or to much light. Not sure its why I am here.

    20. What test kit do you use (how old, recently switched, etc.)
I use a Hanna test kit for Phosphate, Nitrate, Alkalinity, and Salinity
I use Salifert for Calcium and Potassium

    21. Present dosing, amounts and intervals (ZEOvit, ZEObak, ZEOfood, ZEOstart, ZEOspur2, etc.)
Zeolites- .8L in a Avast marine zeolite reactor shaken daily, changed once at the 4 month mark left 10% old rock in
running approximately 80 gallons per hour through reactor.
KZ Carbon= .68 grams in mesh bag in a filter cup changed every 3 weeks
Zeobak= 3 Drops Tuesday and Saturday
Zeofood= 6 Drops Wednesday, Friday, Sunday, I also do 18 drops first week of every month
Sponge Power= 4 drops Wednesday, Friday, Sunday

After 1 month and saw growth on corals I started
Coral Vitalizer= 3 drops Wednesday, Friday, Sunday
    B-balance= 9ml on Tuesday
    A-balance= 6ml on Tuesday
    Pohl's Xtra= 1.5ml per day
Iodide Complex= 3 drops Wednesday, Friday, Sunday
KZ Amino Acid= 3 drops Wednesday, Friday, Sunday
Amino Acid LPS= 1.5ml Wednesday, Friday, Sunday, i have one goniopora test piece
Coral Booster= 3ml Wednesday, Friday, Sunday
    Flatworm Stop= 3ml per day
I also have Iron Concentrate but haven't started a dose of that yet

    22. Other water parameters and water stability (salinity, temp, etc.)
    Hanna Checker Salinity= 1.025
    Salifert Potassium= 370
    Apex Temp probe= 77 F

    23. Which salt brand do you use
    Tropic Marin Pro Reef Salt
I do 5 gallon water change every Tuesday

I will attach some pictures as well of the coral for you to see. The corals are really really pale to the point I'm worried they are about to start dying. I have tried to really think out this tank for success. Any advise is appreciated!

        Welcome,

        Just a couple of things,
and bear in mind ur tank is still young

        - akl need you increased and kept stable.
        try for around 7-7.5

        - salinity also keeps stable ( not to knock Hanna but there tester is hit n miss reviews) cross check it with a refractor.
        - potassium needs to be increased to the 380-400 ish mark

        - ur balling method. Are you adding any supplements into ur alk and ca mg?
as you might be double dose some additives

        - ur reactor flow is important
you haven’t listed lph ( this could be an issue relating to ur corals)

        - don’t think your too far off with ur lighting, but may suggest 8hr on to see if it helps being young system

          Welcome to ZeoVit.com !

Basically I can not see anything problematic however from the pictures I would agree that corals tissue is light, especially the tissue of the Montipora corals.

As Nick said the system is very young so still a long way to establish and stabilize the biology which is very important for the corals.

I would also recommend to double check the potassium level with a different, accurate test kit to make sure yours is working well, same with the salinity.

Additional to Nicks advice those are some things I would change also:
          1. Adjust your skimmer to skim more dry
          2. Reduce the photoperiod to 8 hours
          3. Reduce the reactor flow to ~ 60 US gallons per hour temporary while keeping a eye on the PO4 and NO3 level which should not increase.
          4. Basically your dosing regimen is fine, I would just recommend to stop dosing B-Balance at the moment as it will lighten the tissue additional.
          5. Increase feeding your fish temporary if you are not already feeding them minimal.
          6. Increase water changes to 8 US gallons per week for some time.

I would expect that the changes should darken the tissue slowly while nutrients do not increase. Please post a update in about 3 weeks.
