    Hi ya

    your questions
1/ 6 drops per 100l is for zeofood. And no you don’t add the start.
( zeobac 1 drop per 100l for 6-7 days when stones are exchanged and 2-3 week after.)

    - zeofood you should use passively at this stage.
Jack and G.Alexander have mentioned this above.

    - you need to allow system settle in.
    - adding too much and too soon can cause you problems, and we don’t want that.

    it’s all takes time.

my experiences with zeofood is it drop my nitrate over that week of dosing 6 drops per 100 and no zeostart.
This can effect ur corals and created other problems on new tanks and newly setting zeosystems.

2/ yes you continue dosing zeostart 2xday when you dose zeofood 1-2 per week

    3/ over dosing.
generally you might get brown looking slime, on sand. Glass may be dirty and corals colour may darken, slow growth prop not coming out. You might also see an increase in nitrates and phosphate

    - alway observe, less can be more 👍

I am asking for both product biomate and coral snow.
      1.If I dose them 2x in a week, phosphate will drop 0,06 to 0 ?
2.how can I understand I overdose them or not?
3.what does it happen if I overdose them?

        1. BioMate has the good ability to reduce phosphate and improve the biological side. CoralSnow has the characteristics of not reducing elements (such as: Ca/Kh). The appearance of very tiny powder is liquid, and it is usually used for cleaning, maintenance and treatment.

I would add as suggested, BioMate@2 drops/100L every other day. Usually CoralSnow@1ml/100L 2 times a week.

        2. Suggestions like the first point

        3. To be honest, I have not encountered the problem of overdose, but basically a "super large" dose once may cause coral discomfort due to biological changes and extreme reduction of nutrition

I cant take down phosphate. It always change 0.09 to 0.18 . I test it with hanna low phos. 2 lt zeovit with 0.8x2 zeostart and 2 times/w 8 drop zeobac.

Phosphate 0.09 becomes 0.18, could this be just an error in measurement, for example any fingerprint smudges on the test bottle. Let's get Zeo SpongPower, which has a good positive relationship to the biology side

What is the flow rate of the zeolite material reactor, have you measured it

A issue with the test was my first idea also, make sure to have the test curvet really clean without any lime or fingerprints on it. Clean the glass very well and do not touch the glass again before measuring. Also make sure the chemicals are dissolved completely. I have stored the curvet in RO water to keep them clean and without scratches.

I have 650 l/h. I took pump to max power 700 now. Does High pump rate take down phosphate?
I start to dose cv 8 drop (3xweek) bb 5 ml (2xweek) amino acid 8 drop (2xweek) biomate 8 drop (every 2 day) coral snow 5-6ml (2x week) iodine (1xweek). After 10 days some corals are more dark. Which product made them more darky?

Regarding your system, if the corals are all healthy, the reactor flow should be 800 liters per hour. Your dosing schedule seems to be fine, I would not expect such a schedule to result in a blackened appearance to the corals. It is also recommended to get SpongePower@8 drops every other day if you can. Regarding the lighting, does it show more blue? Also, keep changing the water 10% weekly to refresh the elements in a balanced way.

Whether the data of basic water parameters, including potassium, has been stabilized at the NSW level for a long time, K+~380, which can improve the bright color of corals, the poorer the nutrition, the more dazzling the appearance of corals

A lot of phosphates come from food.
frozen food- have you tried rinsing the frozen food before ?

Dirty filter socks or testing before and after changing

test kit error. I have had this issues when I KNOW I have phosphates but the meter always reads 0
                    - I brought another box of agents

I always use paper towels to clean and dry the test bottle when testing and after.

                    - water changes are a good way to lower phosphates as long as ur RODI has NO phosphates.

Hi The extra phosphate and nitrate makes corals darker. Are you testing with a hanna. We used to test with hanna but it never gave consistent reading so we threw the device out. lol

Are you using coral snow or coral snow plus? The plus is better for reducing phosphate. Phosphate changes a lot and you not even testing for organic stuff so you only get half a picture but your numbers a relatively low so I would not worry about it.
Can you post a picture of what condition your corals are in now. Is there polyp extension?

                      Regards John

                        hello again,
yes I am using coral snow not plus. polyp extension is very good. phos is 0.03 now because I feed fishes less than last weeks. looks like some colour changes started.

                              Hello again
after phos 0 , all sps are not good now. How can I raise phos to a bit high? Lower flow rate or partly on off in a day?

A undetectable PO4 level does usually not harm the corals. Can you please share some pictures of your corals, your actual dosing regimen and the actual water parameters including K+ ?
