    Welcome to ZeoVit.com !

I would recommend you to do some smaller:

    1. Place 0.6 liter zeovit in a Zeo Reactor. Water flow around 220 liters per hour. Connect the reactor pump to a clock timer and run the reactor pump with a 3 hour on / 3 hour off / 3 hour on interval. Please make sure the zeolite is not exposed to air while the pump is switched off. Clean the material daily. Leave the zeolite 4 weeks in the filter until you do the first change out. This is the first changing interval, others could be lengthen to 6 – 8 weeks.

    2. Place 0.2 liters activated carbon in a filter sock and keep it in a passive water flow in your sump, changed every 30 days. Knead the carbon daily to keep the surface clean. Most users get perfect results with korallenzucht carbon.

    3. Dose 3 drops ZeoBa
c daily for the first 2 weeks, flowed by a 2 x weekly dosage of 2 drops. Dose 0.22 ml ZeoStart 2 x daily (morning & evening). Dose those in front of the Zeo reactor pump while it is switched on. ZeoFood can be used later once the system is running nutrient poor stabile.

    4. The additional dosage of some food source for the corals can be done so dosing 4 drops CoralVitalizer 2 x weekly. Xtra can also be used later, at the moment I would recommend to stop dosing it.

Basic water parameters looking good, try to keep them as stabile as possible close the NSW in the following ranges:

    KH 6.5 – 7.5
    Ca 400 – 420 mg
    Mg 1250 – 1300 mg
    K+ ~ 380 mg

For a nutrient poor environment K+ (potassium) seems to be a important element. I would recommend you to get a test kit for this element also, posting your results.

Have you used a PO4 absorber before to keep PO4 under control.

This is a start-up dosage which might have to be adjusted later.

      Hi
      1. I placed 0.5 liter, water flow around 220 lph. I can't doing 3 hours interval, because reactor is connected to return pump.
      2. Carbon its placed in media reactor, I can remove and put to filter sock.
      3. Done
      4. Done
      Potassium (Salifert test) 410 mg.
      I never used a PO4 absorber, always I've low PO4.
      Thank you for replay.

Hello Richard, the flow through the ZeoVit material to convert the system is to high, it might cause some issues with your corals so my recommendation is to keep a close eye on them. Polyp Expansion should not decrease also the tissue should not get to light to quick. Also observe if you notice a decrease in growth. If possible you can also try to reduce the reactor flow to ~ 150 liters per hour for the next couple of weeks as a alternative for the 3 hour on / off interval.

Lets place the carbon in a mash bag passively flown in the sump. Later if the system runs stable you might be able to use the carbon reactor again but just use 50% of the recommended carbon quantity and replace it every 3 weeks.

          Thank you

Everything it’s done like you said.
I’m new to this method, that’s why I’m asking.
          One more time Thank you.

            Hi
What else I can start dosing?
            - coral booster
            - sponge power
            - potassium Iodide Fluoride Concentrate
            Maybe something else.

            My parameters
            No3 - 3
            Po4 - 0

Lets first try to stabilize the system, additional elements can be dosed later if the system runs nutrient poor solid. At the moment lets dose the basics and additional 2 drops SpongePower every other day as it has a positive side effect to the biology.

                  Hi
I did first zeo replacement, I noticed my Po4 it’s going up from 0 before i started zeo and now 0.046, also I changed carbon to korallen zucht two days ago.
No3 all the time same 5-10 ppm.

The PO4 level should start to decrease again soon. If you replace the material keep ~ 10% of the old material in the reactor and add ~ 90% fresh material. After each ZeoVit exchange dose ZeoBac daily for 10 days. Please also do not replace ZeoVit and Carbon at the same days.

Next time I will keep 10% old material.
Carbon I placed 2 days after I replaced zeo.

                      Thank you

What to change, I now iodine it’s to low and iron, I’ll fix that.

Because of the ICP analysis result I would not see a reason to change anything if your corals are doing fine. I would recommend to dose Iron and Iodine depending to the look of the corals instead of the ICP test result. If your corals green coloration is getting to light some Iron can be dosed, usually 1 drop / 25 US gallons 2 x weekly works well. If you notice a decrease of polyp expansion or a leak in blue coloration Iodine can help, same as Iron 1 drop / 25 US gallons usually works well.

I had always problem with coloration, all my corals are pale.
                              I’m patient, I’ll wait.
                              Thank you
