    Tell us about your tank.
Please give us answers to the following questions in order to get more accurate dosing recommendations.

    1. Gross water volume of your complete system (incl. sump etc.) - US gallons / UK gallons / liter Elos 160 145 gal tank 30 gal sump
    2. Net water volume (incl. sump etc.) - US gallons / UK gallons / liter 145-155 total gal
    3. Are you using a CaCO2 reactor or other technique yes
    4. Are you using a PO4 reactor (how long, how long ago, etc.) no
    5. Are you using Ozone no
    6. Are you using UV no 7. What skimmer are you using (type, rated water volume) Bubble king mini 200 uo to 264 gal
    8. What are your actual PO4 and NO3 levels 0 and 15 9. What are your actual Ca, Alk and Mg levels ca430 alk8.12 mag 1500
    10. What filtration method do you use (refugium, DSB, Miracle Mud, etc.) sand bed live rock
    11. Type of light (Watt, color temp, how old, etc.) kessil 360x 12. What corals do you keep sps lps and some soft
    13. Tissue color (light or dark) some dark some light
    14. How long has the tank been running this tank about a year
    15. Why do you want to use the ZEOvit system I've been in hobby a long time and have always wanted to try it
    16. Any supplemental dosing (type, amount, why, etc.) red sed ab
    17. Live rock (how much, how old, etc.) 100lbs 1year
    18. Any present problems no nitrates higher than id like
    19. Problem description (tissue loss tips, tissue loss base, diatom bloom, algae, etc.)
    20. What test kit do you use (how old, recently switched, etc.) nyos and salifert
    21. Present dosing, amounts and intervals (ZEOvit, ZEObak, ZEOfood, ZEOstart, ZEOspur2, etc.) just started dosing last night of of zeo guide
    22. Other water parameters and water stability (salinity, temp, etc.) 1.026 77deg
    23. Which salt brand do you use fritz pro reef I set up the system last night i have an avast vibe 2l reactor i also have a lot of fish. I need some guidance on the proper dosing of ZEOvit, ZEObak, ZEOfood, ZEOstart, ZEOspur2, etc. I'm just using the basic guide.

Also let me preface that i had a clearwater algae scrubber to help with nutrient export that could not get my nitrates below 15 or so that I took down when i installed the avast vibe. Like I mentioned in the sticky i have a lot of fish and feed heavy.

      Welcome to ZeoVit.com !

First start with the basics products to decrease nutrients:

      1. Place 1.3 liter zeovit in a Zeo Reactor. Water flow around 140 US gallons per hour. Connect the reactor pump to a clock timer and run the reactor pump with a 3 hour on / 3 hour off / 3 hour on interval. Please make sure the zeolite is not exposed to air while the pump is switched off. Clean the material daily. Leave the zeolite 4 weeks in the filter until you do the first change out. This is the first changing interval, others could be lengthen to 6 – 8 weeks.

      2. Place 0.5 liters activated carbon in a filter sock and keep it in a passive water flow in your sump, changed every 30 days. Knead the carbon daily to keep the surface clean. Most users get perfect results with korallenzucht carbon.

      3. Dose 5 drops ZeoBa
c daily for the first 2 weeks, flowed by a 2 – 3 x weekly dosage of 5 drops each. Dose 0.53 ml ZeoStart 2 x daily (morning & evening). Dose those in front of the Zeo reactor pump while it is switched on.

Later on you could use the additional products for coral coloration. Adjust your skimmer to skim wet, keeping it clean to export as much as possible. Do a weekly water change of 5 – 10 % with a good salt.

You can use the algae scrubber additional as long as the algae do grow. I would not recommend to remove it at the early stage because ZeoVit does need some time before it does process nutrients effective.

Basic water parameters looking good, try adjust and keep them as stabile as possible close the NSW in the following ranges:

      KH 6.5 – 7.5
      Ca 400 – 420 mg
      Mg 1250 – 1300 mg
      K+ ~ 380 mg

For a nutrient poor environment K+ (potassium) seems to be a important element. I would recommend you to get a test kit for this element also, posting your results.

This is a start-up dosage which might have to be adjusted later.

Thank you for the guidance! It’s certainly a lot different than the zeo guide I do have a potassium test kit I tested tonight and got a reading of 400 to 410. I ordered some additives before you told me what to do that are coming tomorrow. I ordered the carbon, coral vitalizer , coral Snow, Zeozym, bio mate, and the coral system. Also how should I dose the zeo food plus? Considering on how you told me to dose.

Perform the #3 plan. Zeo Food can be used later for low malnutrition and fine-tune the appearance of coral. It is good to get Zeo Sponge Power products. The new version of Zeo recommends SpongPower, which has better side effects on biology

Potassium level is good, keep K+~380-400

Yes, basically it is one of the cores of Zeo's nutrition reduction products. Dosage: Zeo Sponge Power 5 drops every other day.

Please also keep in mind that the basic water parameters are high. When the ZeoVit system starts to operate, you should ensure that the salinity is correct and set its parameters,In the first 4 weeks, gradually adjust slowly
              KH 6.5 – 7.5
              Ca 400 – 420 mg
              Mg 1250 – 1300 mg
              K +~380 mg
