Getting ready for first exchange

I will be doing my first zeolith exchange this weekend. It is a few days early, but its easier for me to do this on a weekend. I could use some dossing recommendation.
85g net

Parameters were checked and tested a few minutes ago.

Current dosage
3/4 l of zeolith stirred 2x daily
0.2ml start2 2x daily
3 drops bac 2x weekly
3 drops food 2x weekly
0.8 ml KB daily
3 drops AAHC daily
8 drops CV daily

I also have PIF and FE that I still have not dosed. Weekly 10g WC are done and have been using 50/50 Kent and Oceanic for the past 2 weeks. I have been using Kent by itself prior. Thanks!

Russ, I would recommend to keep the present dosage, just start to dose ZeoBac & ZeoFood7 after the zeolite exchange daily for a 2 week period, followed by 2 x weekly.

As long you do not notice the lighting of the tissue, I would recommend to wait with the dosage of PIF and Fe.

Any changes in the corals since you start the system ?

I am definitely still in Phase 1. I did have some lighting of some corals but dosing KB has helped getting some colors back. Overall, I dont see any drastic improvement since zeo. I will stay the course however. So bac and food will be dosed daily for 2 weeks? I originally started at every other day. Anyways, thanks for the info.

If you are still in phase 1 and do not noticed tissue lighting and general colour improvement I would recommend to wait with the PIF & Fe dosage and stay the course. It will take time until the “pooled” nutrients in your system are depleted.

Keep the dosage of K-Balance as it is if you notice further improvements, than it could be lowered, not sure how much you dose at the moment. If 1 ml K-Balance is dosed daily in a heavy stocked system you will balance the daily potassium consumption of the animals, just as a clue.

After the Zeo exchange I would recommend a daily dosage of ZeoFood7 and ZeoBac for a 10 – 14 day period if you do not get any of the overdosing signs (brown film & air bubbles on the rocks), if this happens cut it back to every other day.

Alexander, with PO4 at 0.05 in a 85 gallon tank, wouldn't it be helpful to dose a little more Start2 than 0.2ml 2x daily?

Timon, basically yes but in this case the zeovit system is running only 4 weeks, I would keep this dosage for the next zeo cycle, just to give the corals enough time do adopt to the new environment.
