my 5th week into zeovit

next week will be my 6th week in zeovit and will have to change my zeolithes. so, need advice of dosing after the next change of zeolites.

parameter:

ca - 440ppm
kh - 7
mg - 1280ppm
sg - 1.025
ph - 7.97 - 8.35
temp - 26.5 deg celcius - 27.4 deg celcius

present dosing:
bak/food 3 drops 2x's/wk
start2 0.3ml 2x's/day
aach - 3 drops
cv - 8-10 drops
zeolites 1L
carbon 1 cup

Gary, looks like you have fixed your Mg problem

As long you did not get any overdosing signs I would recommend after the ZeoVit exchange:

ZeoBac / ZeoFood7: 3 drops daily for a 2 week period – followed by 3 drops 2 x weekly
ZeoStart2: 0.3 ml 2 x daily (morning / evening)
AAHC: 3 drops daily
CV: 8 - 10 drops daily
Carbon: 0.3 liters passively flown

You could leave 5 – 10 % of the old stones in the zeo filter to introduce a stocked bacteria population.

Any idea what the actual NO3 and PO4 levels are ?

Ca is on the maximum so I would recommend to keep a eye on it. 400 – 410 mg works perfect.

here is my p04 and n03
p04 = undetect (salifert)
n03 = >0.1 (salifert) - hard to read the colour chart

i still got to clean my display glass every 2 days. so, i guess the P04 is still high. but the colour of the corals have improved.

the only change i made was that i now run 3x250W MH. but my PH has raise much higher now. from 7.98 - 8.4. the swing is too much

i have off my CR for 1.5 days now. hope to lower the Ca a little.
