best place to find a Zebrasoma rostratum

Hi All

where is the best place to find a black tang? I seen jeff`s fish has them for 450.But has hoping to find one somewhere else

Ron you in the US? Black tangs are hard to find. The most common online culprits would be justrarefish.com (email 'em) and themarinecenter.com. Prices are much better usually at justrarefish. themarinecenter.com on the other hand I believe gets 'em pretty regularly. They are a bigger operation than justrarefish I think....at least they've been around a lot longer. Otherwise, you hunt around high and low and hope that someone has 'em.

Depends what size you want,

There have been some monster ones showing up at about 1-2 a month since about October - These are the size of Pie Pans (body only not including fins).
