  • What does your water test at with you TDS meter?

I just tested mine last night and it was way too high (37ppm) so I started going to a new store and it tests at 11ppm.

Our tap water here ( New Zealand ) is around 60. after carbon and RO membrane it comes out around 3, and the waste water is around 90. The water then goes through single DI and comes out 0.

I've got a second DI that I'd like to hook up soon... for the folks running dual-DI, what do you use for resins? 2 mixed beds, or separate cation and anion?

                I thought mine was bad.

Pre...between 200 & 600 depending on how much the byproduct Sodium hydroxide from chlorine generation is added to help raise the pH. (I call it their hazardous waste for free dump)

After my RO I run cation - cation - anion - anion in four separate housings. (have obscenely high silicates in the water here).

I have the silicate problem as well... So the anion removes the silicates?

Does anyone re-pack their DI cartridges? If so, where do you get the various resins? I can't afford $20 every 200 gallons of product water... there has to be a cheaper way!
