  • Trace-el-controller / Corall A/B/C

I wanted to get more info about the controller and Corall A/B/C...

What is this Corall A/B/C ?? I am setting up a new system that will be close to 800gal total water volume that will have mostly LPS and softies in it with some SPS and clams... Will I see a big improvement in dosing these 3 additives ?? About how long will 500ml of each last in my system (how much will I need to dose daily) ??

Also the TEC III is only a 3 pump system correct ?? So If I really wanted to I could get a LiterMeter III "LM3" and get the Corall A/B/C additives to does my system ?? Is there a main diff in the TEC III apposed to the LM3...

Hi Shawn, I've never used these or for that matter know their function?? Have you found a source in the US for these, as they're used by some in Europe?--maybe some of our European reefers who have experience with these additives can helpBob

Shawn, some information from Grotechs homepage:

Corall A, B and C are 3 trace-element mixtures which have to be dosed separately and which fulfill all requirements of the invertebrates in every respect.
The composition of Corall A,B and C has been optimized in cooperation with experienced marine water aquarists and during longterm tests in different aquariums, so that with the combined use of Corall A,B and C an equal excellent growing rate and colouring of soft, leather as well as hard corals will be achieved.
Corall A contains Strontium, Magnesium, Barium, Lithium ...
Corall B contains Magnesium, Iron, Chrome, Mangan, Nickel, Kobalt, Copper ...
Corall C contains Fluor, Iodine, Bor, Molybdenum ...
Dosing max. 10 ml / 100 l aquarium water per week
      Available quantities 250ml / 500ml / 5000ml

Here you can download the PDF user manual for the 3 channel dosing system TEC III:

      http://www.grotech-aquarientechnik.d...F/TECIIING.pdf

Personally I do not have any experience with them, maybe some others can help.

I have tried to find a English version for you but it looks like it is only available in German. Maybe Scott or Garry have already translated it to English. Please PM one of them (scottw / ger).
