Angels are hit and miss, once you get them eating frozen foods,it is likely that it will not bother your corals, but, be prepared to lose some stuff, it may happen.....

I have a majestic that has been in my tank for quite a while, the first month was tough, it tasted everything, and really liked zoos and digitata, but, now it does not even bother them at all...........
IF IT IS WORTH DOING, TAKE YOUR TIME AND DO IT RIGHT..........

,ma you keep in mind who grows, my today measure 15-18 cm I have raised x5 years a pomacantus crisurus in less than 100 gallons, then the donated one for fear, hour for a year in my Aquarius reef and present beyond to navarcus also a crisurus, and continuous not having problems with corals

Call me crazy, but I have an affinity for both corals and Angels. I have a 7" Conspiculatus, a 4" Blueface, a 3" Asfur, a 7" Imperator and a 5" Chysurus in my system. The Chrysurus is in the refugium which is more of a frag grow out tank, 150 gallon tank with a bare bottom and 100 pounds of rock raised about 4" off the bottom. He hasn't nipped anything in that tank yet, but I just haven't gotten around to adding him to the 450. All of the others really don't nip anymore. They did at first (especially the Imp) but I keep them fed mostly with Nori, flake and pellet. The Blueface is pretty shy as is the Asfur since they are the smallest, but they are all fat and don't nip on corals or clams. They will nip a couple times on anything new I add to the tank, but that is all. I also have Frogspawn, Favia, Fungia and a scolymia that they ignore, to my suprise.

They are hit or miss, I have just been very lucky. I also have a 5" Halequin Tusk, a 7"+ Dussemieri Tang, a 7" regal Blue tang, a 4" purple Tang, 8 Lyretail Anthias, African Flameback Angel, Flame Hawk, Swallowtail Angel, Foxface, Blonde Naso and a Mandarin. My tank swarms with Pods.

Just be prepared and resigned to the fact that you may have to remove the Angel if it causes too much damage.

I would place it in the sump first off and get it eating pellets and Nori and the such. Maybe that will also help keep it form wanting to taste your corals.
