If you dose zeospur2 then take a look at this and give me your opinion

I used to dose zeospur2 every two weeks because I thought I would get the best color out of my corals by doing so. However, I once forgot to dose the zeospur2 on time and instead I dosed it around 3 weeks to a month.

What I found when I dosed it less often suprised me. I found that if I dosed it every 2 weeks the corals would lighten and then not have much of a chance to darken before I dosed again. However, if I dosed about every 3 weeks to a month they had a chance to darken in between and when they darkened they were much more flouresent. Has anyone else come to this same conclusion?

For those who have experiemented with the dosing time of this product, when did you feel the optimal length between doses was?

Brad, interesting observation.

If ZeoSpur2 is dosed in too short intervals or in to high quantities weaken fluorescence is taking place. This is what I have observed also.

If the comparison of the water is balanced (elements) and if ZeoSpur2 is dosed in the optimal quantity and interval, I am able to keep the fluorescence constant, even if I dose in a 10 – 14 day interval.

The quantity I use keeps the tissue of the corals light for about 4 - 5 days, than it slowly becomes darker until I dose again. I only dose if necessary and never try to keep the tissue always complete light.

Have not observed any negative effect with this dosage.
