Wow, i think ive been adding to much Start

Hi guys well i started Zeo again back on the 4th of Dec (this month)and going from my old dosing recs of 6 mos ago before i stopped.I use old salifert droppers for dosing Zeo start2.well not thinking about it, i have been using the big dropper (as found in the alk test)instead of the small dropper that reads 0.3 ive been adding 3ml twice aday.Ive seen nothing negitive in the tank,but wondering if i should cut dosing zeo start for a few days or just drop to 0.3 ml twice aday?

Hi, you're fine. Start2 excess will demonstrate dark film accumulates on your panes or slimey deposits with small air-bubbles on your LR. Just reduce Start2 back to your previous dosage, Bob

Thanks.i see some people on here add about as much as i have been.Ive seen no slimey matts either,altho its only been a week.But i'm gonna go through the start up list again and make sure you think my current dosing is ok since my tank has changed a bit.So that to come.thanks

Let me know if you would change anything,i did list the zeostart at 6ml for the day.what do you think would be a better dose?

Hi, thnx. for your info. Outside of the Start2 quantity, the remainder of your doses are fine. I'd dose Start2 .5ml 2x's/day with 2-3 pump-cleanings at 5-10 reps each time, use 1 1/4ltr. zeolites at a flow of ~125mph, & 1 heaping Cup carbon, passively in your sump, kneaded 3-4x's/wk. & exchanged monthly. You sure i should have reactor flow at 125 mph
