Just wanted to let everyone share in my experiences for those who may be interested in this method. I am dosing as per Bob's schedule except I have to change out my Eheim pump on my GroTech reactor to a smaller one (to cut the flow rate through the reactor in half).
Here are my parameters day one:
Alk 8.2 dkh
Ca 400 ppm
PO4 undetectable
NO3 5 ppm
Mg untested (acquiring test kit in next few days).
No corals in tank so I can't report on their response...however...
The hair algae still swaying in the breeze!
Will post as changes occur. Thanks everyone for their help thus far. I can't wait for the "Nitrate Factory" to get shut down!
