This early I'd be surprised to see changes in coral color.

Maybe update and confirm the information in this thread.

Why are you using zeolive? It's not needed with the zeovit system.

Hi Jason, generally it takes some time for our corals to adjust to the new water chemistry changes. I've never used zeolive & agree with Steve & Madison that you should not worry about p-e unless your corals appear "dry" w/o p-e. Bob

today,it looks like some colonies have less& some more polyp extension, but as far as montiporas, they all seem to have less pe,should i be concerned?

Does your water look clearer? I saw that in about 1-2 weeks. That might explain the "look" of the Montipora, maybe some other as well.

i also lost a few frags in my prop system, that is actually where the reactor is.is it a problem having reactor in your prop?
ps none of the frags where from my tank it was 2 acros & small monti all came from another tank last week, they were quiet brown, the monti is an 1" frag that still alive with polyps but looks like the tissue is thin, there is a small colony as well that came from same tank(on the left),which is doing fine& actually lightening up quick

i also did some changes to the main tank last week let me know what you think
                      last week

                      now

i got rid of the huge frogspawn ,which gave me alot of new space i had it grow from 2 heads in 16 months
i also had this huge bluetip acro that i grow from smaller colony in 14 months, the middle of colony was not getting much light or flow so was dying slowly as the colony was getting bigger which was overgrownig the spot,so i fragged it up got about 40 huge frags, that went to lfs, kept a little chunk myself

What's the turnover rate from the prop system to the display?

smart question steve it is not much, probably 300 gph so i would say less than 8 times per hour & returns to a common sump (20 gal) which there is a 900 gph to main display,so i would say changes in the prop tank are a lot more rapid,is that what you're getting at?
